Teemo is squishy and has no dashes or escape abilities. You can all in him if he is out of position, especially if his and his are on cooldown.

Teemo is countered by abilites that can close the gap. If you can get into melee range, you can run Teemo down and take a winning trade.

Teemo's has a long cooldown at early levels. Do your best to clear out shrooms so that Teemo is unable to build up a minefield. Switching to Red Trinket is a great option.

Red Trinket, Pink Wards and Umbral Glaive all counter Teemo. Make sure to switch to Red Trinket as soon as you can after Teemo hit's level 6 so that you can clear his shrooms.

Teemo trades with Auto Attacks and . Start Doran's Shield to counter Teemo. The health regen and sustain will keep you in lane against his poke.

Ninja Tabi and Adaptive Helm work together to counter Teemo's damage. You take less damage per Auto Attacks, as well as less damage from his poison effect over time. These two items are better than Mercury's Treads or Spirit Visage.
