Mordekaiser loses to champions who win long duels. Counter Morde by continuing to fight after his shield and heal are used.

Morde's is fairly low range. He relies on the pull back from his to consistently land his damage. Dodging his is a big factor in winning the trade.

You can use Quicksilver Sash to get out of Death Realm, but you cannot Cleanse Dealth Realm. Quicksilver Sash is one of the best Morde counters because it also provides needed Magic Resist.

After Level 6, Mordekaiser is very difficult to gank. He can put any single target into his Death Realm to negate the point of a gank. Do not gank if his is up.

Mordekaiser wins sustained duels due to the shield and heal on his . He builds shield for all the damage he deals and takes, and then can consume it for a heal. Counter Morde by taking quick trades.

Mordekaiser is countered by anti-heal. Mordekaiser wants to build AP items to take advantage of his built in Magic Pen and tank damage with his shield and heal. Reducing his healing is important to counter Mordekaiser's tankiness.
