The newest Warbond, “Truth Enforcers” is set to release on October 31st, just in time for Halloween.
Truth Enforcers bring us the classic Warbond assortment of a couple of new primaries, capes, emotes, and of course, some new armors. These armors are giving us some serious Commissar and Sith Trooper vibes.
NEW WEAPONS
Truth Enforcers starts off by introducing Helldivers 2’s very first plasma based secondary, the “PLAS-15 Loyalist”, which can be fired semi-auto or you can charge it up, which sounds very similar to plasma pistol from Space Marine 2… With the recent amazing changes to plasma weapons, we’re excited to try this one out on some bots.
Next up, we have the SG-20 Halt. It’s a pump-action shotgun, like the Punisher, but with a twist—this one alternates between stun rounds and armor-piercing flechette rounds. That’s pretty neat! Alongside it, we’re also getting the SMG-32 Reprimand, a “heavy SMG” featuring a “slap reload”, though no details have been shared about it yet.
New Armors
These look seriously cool. The all-white, light-armored “UF-16 Inspector”, as well as the Sith Trooper Armor medium-armored UF-50 Bloodhound both come equipped with the new “Unflinching” passive, which reduces stagger when hit—a perfect addition for tackling those pesky Automatons.
We’re also getting fresh patterns for our shuttle, hellpod, and exosuit. There’s a new very sharp looking emote called “At Ease” (pictured above), and a new booster called “Dead Sprint”.
The Warbond release is set for Thursday, October 31st.
