Storyweavers Kayle
Final Board Setup
This a standard leveling composition where you need to roll on key intervals (3-2, 4-2, and 5-2) for upgraded carries and eventually cap out your board around legendary units. This guide will primarily discuss the generic way to play Kayle (supporting Kai’sa and Irelia) with consistent DPS, but she does have a late game board where she can be played as a burst mage if you manage to get Support items.

Early Game
In general, play boards with upgraded units who can hold items. Avoid itemizing non-upgraded units. Preserving HP is key to hitting capped late game boards.
If you chose to itemize Storyweaver units as early carries, don’t forget to hold additional copies of them in the early game so you can move items conveniently later
Kayle’s supporting upgrades should mimic your early items. If you have a strong AD item slam, choose “Attack Speed” supported effect. If you have a strong AP item slam, choose “Ability Power” supported effect. Otherwise, you can default armor and MR shred.

Mid Game
For the mid game, look to find an item holder for AD items – good candidates are Bard and Tristana. Also, look to move tank items to a stronger, upgraded unit.
The board will be surprisingly stable after you get in 5 Storyweavers – do not over roll for upgrades and look to push levels as soon as you hit one copy of Galio

Late Game
Focus on building up economy and then roll on important intervals (4-5, 5-1, or 5-5) for upgraded 4 costs and supporting units. After getting key units upgraded, look to push level 9 and 10 for legendaries.
Altruist is a fantastic late game trait as it will give bonus defensive stats to your whole board.
It is easy to clump your units with Kayle’s supporting buffs. Make sure you avoid hard CC units i.e. Nautilus.
Late Game Board (Burst Mage Kayle)
As of Patch 14.7, Kayle’s blue perk Tome of Power is very strong when she hits 7 Storyweavers. If you are carrying Kayle, instead of opting into Talisman of Aid, you want to choose her Talisman of Might, Scroll of Force, and Tome of Power upgrades.
Kayle will scale very hard off of combat supporting items, so posture towards this board variation if you manage to find Support items through portals, augments, and encounters.
Take the following perks:
1. Talisman of Might (3 Storyweavers)
2. Scroll of Force (5 Storyweavers)
3. Tome of Power (7 Storyweavers)
