Team Comp Overview

Slayer Belveth is a strategy that should be played with an AD fighter item start, combat augments, and an early game board with upgraded Slayer units. This board requires at minimum, a Bloodthirster and an additional omnivamp item equipped on a Slayer unit at Level 8 to unlock Aatrox. So prioritize building 2 omnivamp items when playing this line.

Early Game Overview

The early game board plays around the 1 cost Slayer units such as Qiyana and Briar or you can play around a Vanquisher board centered around Rek’sai and Gangplank. Itemize whoever you upgrade first and the other units are flexible. Ideally, field 2 Void units as early as possible to unlock Rift Herald for a more stable board at Level 7 and Level 8.

On every carousel round, prioritize item components that build into Bloodthirster and Hand of Justice as these two items are necessary to unlock Aatrox in the late game.

Mid Game Overview

Unlockable Units:
Rift Herald: Have Void active for 8 player combats

In the mid game, transfer AD items onto a stronger carry such as Gangplank or Rek’sai and continue playing Void units if the Void mutation is good for carry units such as Spitter Spines and Adrenaline Modules. If you’ve been playing Void units early in the game, you should be able to unlock Rift Herald in stage 3 who provides a strong front line and CC during the mid game.

After building two healing items, focus on attack speed items for Bel’Veth such as Quicksilver, Kraken’s Fury, and Giant Slayer.

Late Game Overview

Unlockable Units:

Aatrox: A champion who starts combat with 40% omnivamp
Mel: 2* Ambessa with an item dies in combat

At Level 8 stabilize by rolling until you have a copy of Bel’veth, Swain, and Ambessa. Then equip Bel’veth with Bloodthirster and one other omnivamp item to unlock Aatrox. Make sure to have at least 1 item component available for Ambessa to hold onto in order to unlock Mel for the late game board.

After stabilizing, rebuild your economy and go to Level 9 on stage 5 for higher odds of finding 5 cost champions and replace the lower cost units to cap out your board.

Consider playing the following units as your 9th unit depending on your lobby:
Taric if your lobby is AP heavy
Senna/Lucian: if you need more damage and durability
Ornn: if you field him early and can farm artifact items
