Final Board Setup

This a late game composition where we need to preserve HP and economy early on, either through economy, portals, and augments. Kai’sa is one of the strongest carries this patch and Xayah 2* is often enough to win games completely. If you are high-rolling, then this is the composition to default towards if you want to win more lobbies. This board can also be played after a Fortune cashout, since there are several 4 and 5-cost units to itemize.

Early Game

In general, play boards with upgraded units who can hold items. Avoid itemizing non-upgraded units. Preserving HP is key to hitting capped late game boards.

The Talisman of Speed perk for Kayle should be taken in this composition. Although the Shred & Sunder is better in the early game, Last Whisper should be the main source of Armor reduction since it can apply to the backline when her ability ricochets.

Tips
Stack your backline around Sivir to focus fire enemy units one at a time and to benefit from her attack speed bonus.

Make sure to hold a replacement Sivir, so you can move items off to Kai’sa easily

Mid Game

Throughout the mid game, look to play strong cost-efficient boards without rolling as we want to preserve economy as much as possible for Level 8. Frontline items can be moved onto stronger, upgraded tanks when you manage to hit them. On 4-2, roll for 4 Bruisers and 4 Trickshots (3 Inkshadow is often flexed in depending on what units you upgrade first).

Tips
If your HP is high, Kai’sa 1* is usually stable enough to go level 9 and play towards your win condition – getting Udyr 2* and Xayah 2*

Late Game

When you manage to hit your itemized upgraded units, start building up your economy to go level 9. Xayah will eventually replace Bard and 3 Inkshadow or 4 Bruiser will spike your board on level 9.
