Blitzcrank pairs well as another 1-cost Honeymancer to become the core tank of the comp. If you find the Sweet Tooth Augment, Nunu becomes a strong frontline tank with Ziggs as the backline carry.

Early Game
Add Honeymancy units and don’t level at all until you have both Ziggs and Blitzcrank at 3-stars. Your early game board should revolve around Ziggs’ and Blitzcrank’s traits with Honeymancy being the preferred vertical trait.
At level 5: Play 5-Honeymancy or 3-Honeymancy and 2-Arcana.

Mid Game
Once you have Ziggs and Blitzcrank 3, start pushing levels. If you are close to a Nunu 3, it’s fine to stay at Level 6 to try to secure the 3-Star, but this comp caps out with adding in Arcana splash units and eventually finding Xerath on level 9.

At this stage, start saving gold for Level 9
Late Game
If you are unable to itemize Veigar, it can be effective to place him on the frontline so that he can give bees to more useful units. Your late game strategy should be to hit Level 9 and find Xerath and Tahm Kench 2. The teamwide Arcana buff from Ahri combined with Honeymancer’s %dmg buff will allow Ziggs to bring the boom.
NOTE: As far as positioning goes, Ziggs will always target the furthest unit, so ideally you have him on the opposite side of the opposing team’s carry. If the enemy team is reliant on aoe (Norra, TK, Hwei, Briar), move Veigar on the side with Xerath and Ahri to direct damage away from Ziggs.
