Team Comp Overview: Augments, Carries, Items & Tempo

Poppy reroll is playable only with the augment Button Mash. This augment grants Poppy a 3 hit attack, reminiscent of her emo phase. Your secondary carry in this comp will be Veigar to provide the battle boss boost. While rolling for Poppy, make sure to pick up copies of Veigar along the way.

Early Game

In the early game, play a board centered around Bastion/Cyberboss units. For the first stage, look to lose streak and prioritize Poppy items which are Bloodthirster/Hand of Justice and Jeweled Gauntlet. Typically, 2 or 3 bastions with a Veigar in the backline will be your board, with a 4th bastion at level 5.

Mid Game

After your roll down, you’ll want to slow roll at level 5 to finish upgrading Poppy/Veigar. If you hit Poppy early, you can opt to go level 6 to find more Veigar copies at level 6. After upgrading both units, look to go level 9 to find high value units like Renekton and Kobuko.

Note: Blue buff and Shojin are both good on Veigar – don’t sit on Shojin components waiting for another tear.

Late Game

After finding Poppy/Veigar 3, start rebuilding your economy to hit higher levels and play high value units like Sejuani/Renekton/Aurora to cap out your board. After itemizing Veigar and Poppy, throw extra items to starred up units to provide additional support.
