The new trailer for the upcoming Helldivers 2 expansion just dropped, and it looks absolutely insane.
Into the Unjust is set to release on September 2nd, followed by the launch of the new premium warbond, Dust Devils, just two days later on September 4th.
A new type of Terminid experience: Subterranean Operations
Helldivers 2 gameplay often revolves around calling down the thunder from your Super Destroyer or Eagle, but in this new update you’ll be infiltrating the Super Colony cave networks, cutting you off from typical heavy stratagems.
A lack of light
The cave systems are going to have dark caverns where you’ll definitely need a flashlight.
New Enemy Types
A new flying bug that spews fire, as well as other Gloom mutations have been teased.
New Mission Types
Two new Gloom missions have been revealed, Hive Lung where you’ll need to head deep into the cave networks to plant a Hellbomb to take out the living and breathing heart of the nest, and Escort Mobile Oil Rig, where you’ll need to defend the rig from attacks while it moves to each drill site.
New Warbond
The new Warbond “Dust Devils” will release on September 4th, two days after the Into the Unjust expansion.
