Arrowhead finally broke the silence after almost a month without a major update. The last big patch for Helldivers 2 was Patch 01.002.202 on April 1st, followed by a small hotfix, but otherwise it’s been dead quiet.
While the Meridian Singularity storyline is still moving forward in-game, the last real content drop we got was the Borderline Justice Warbond, which launched way back on March 20th.
Now, Arrowhead says “fear not — we are cooking.” They confirmed the next Warbond will be announced on May 8, and teased that there’s more exciting news coming not long after. No major details yet, but they’re telling Helldivers to get ready for the fight ahead.

You may have noticed that the gap between our major updates and Warbond releases is a little longer this time. But we’re happy to say we’ll be announcing our next Warbond on May 8, and there will be more exciting news to come not long after.
We won’t stand on ceremony too much in revealing what that Warbond might be, but you’ll hear more from us soon. Until then: stand up straight, polish those boots and keep that uniform in tip-top condition, Helldivers.
