Scout Sniper Loadout: A masterclass in Automaton destruction
An excellent endgame sniper loadout, perfectly suited for destroying Priority Targets such as Hulks and Devastators.
The R-63CS Diligence Counter Sniper is the perfect weapon against Automatons, though you will have to aim carefully. G-16 Impact Grenades can destroy Tanks by successfully hitting the glowing rear vent twice.
Core Stratagems
The Anti-Materiel Rifle can take down a Hulk with 2 headshots or 4 shots to the energy cells on its back. Combined with Stun Grenades, Hulks become easy targets. Cannon Turrets can be destroyed with 4-5 shots to their glowing vents.
The Shield Generator Pack is your best friend on Automaton missions, especially when facing Helldive difficulty. Safety first, diver.
Recommended Stratagems
The Eagle 500KG and Eagle Airstrike are critical for taking down Automaton units such as Tanks and Factory Striders.
Equipping an Eagle 500KG and Orbital Laser is an extremely effective combo, especially against Command Bunkers.
However, Airstrikes are extremely effective at clearing crowds.
Try to play around what Stratagems your fellow Helldivers have equipped and select which one you find most effective.
