The Illuminate often send in swarms of Voteless, accompanied by a handful of Overseers and Elevated Overseers. The Guard Dog makes short work of Overseers, especially as you can keep them stun-locked with the Blitzer. The Commando is efficient at destroying Warp Ships as well as Harvesters (once you burn their shield with the Redeemer), and the Orbital 120 is fantastic at clearing out Encampments.

Recommended Weapon

ARC-12 Blitzer

The ARC-12 Blitzer is the perfect answer to hordes of Voteless found in cities. It also makes short work of Overseers, and stun locks them stopping them from charging you with their melee. It will also stun lock Elevated Overseers, making them easy targets for allies.

Featuring Medium Armor-Pen and Unlimited Ammo, the Blitzer is hands down one of the best Primaries to run versus the Illuminate.

Core Stratagems

MLS-4X Commando

Down Arrow.pngLeft Arrow.png Up Arrow.png Down Arrow.pngRight Arrow.png

Cost: 8,000, Unlocked at Level 15.

Equipped with four rockets, the Commando is a powerful laser-guided anti-tank rocket launcher that can easily destroy Warp Ships as well as Harvesters.

A single rocket can destroy a Grounded Warp Ship by aiming at one of its open doors, as long as you have removed the shield first.

Harvesters can be taken down with a single, careful shot to their eye once their shield is down.

Unlike the Recoilless Rifle, it doesn’t require a backpack, offering more flexibility.

AX/AR-23 “Guard Dog”

Cost: 7,500, Unlocked at Level 10.

The Guard Dog is equipped with an AR-23P Liberator Penetrator, identical to the one wielded by players. This hovering drone hovers close to your back and will fire on targets independently.

When its magazine is empty, the Guard Dog returns to its backpack to reload, carrying up to eight reserve magazines, which can be replenished using the Supply or Ammo Boxes.

Compared to the AX/LAS-5 “Guard Dog” Rover (Laser Drone), the standard Guard Dog boasts higher damage and improved armor penetration but relies on its backpack ammo reserve.

Recommended Stratagems

Orbital 120MM Barrage

Cost: 4,000, Unlocked at Level 5.

The 120mm HE Barrage fires off several volleys of shots capable of destroying most enemy outposts entirely, making it a powerful Stratagem for clearing spawners and bases.

With a large area of effect, it can easily take out Detector Towers, Command Bunkers, Anti-Air Emplacements, Mortar Emplacements, and Grounded Warp Ships. It’s particularly effective against AA Emplacements, which are otherwise difficult to deal because they disable Eagle Stratagems.

The barrage is also a solid counter to Bot Drops, with a well-placed beacon near the reinforcement flare capable of wiping out most Dropships and their occupants.

Ensure you throw the beacon as far as possible to avoid being caught in the bombardment. The minimum safe distance from the beacon is approximately 50m. Sprinting away immediately after deployment is highly recommended!

Orbital Laser

Cost: 10,000, Unlocked at Level 15.

The Orbital Laser is an incredibly powerful stratagem, though you’re only allowed 3 uses per game, and it is on a significant cooldown.

It will effortlessly slice through a field of enemies. It’s a “Throw and forget” kind of stratagem, as the targeting is handled automatically as the laser travels enemy-to-enemy. It’s capable of taking out bug holes and fabricators, as well as heavies such as the Titan, Hulk and Impaler.
