Slow and Steady: Long Range is the key to survival
When it comes to Helldive difficulty, picking your battles becomes imperative as a patrol can summon an endless wave of bot drops that will prevent you from making progress towards objectives. This makes long range engagements a necessity which is why this build highlights the Scorcher and the Anti-Materiel Rifle to single out heavy enemies. Utilize the Stun Grenade to halt enemy advances as you pick them off.
Core Stratagems
The Anti-Materiel Rifle can take down a Hulk with 2 headshots or 4 shots to the energy cells on its back. Combined with Stun Grenades, Hulks become easy targets. Cannon Turrets can be destroyed with 4-5 shots to their glowing vents.
Scout Striders can be destroyed with a single shot to either leg joint or three shots to their armored front plate.
Devastators, in all their varieties, can be killed with a single headshot.
- The Orbital Laser stands apart from other Orbital Cannons Stratagems, as it is limited to three uses
- This Stratagem should therefore be saved for use against heavy enemies that drop in groups as it will automatically focus the heaviest targets in the immediate area
- After completion, be sure to be cautious of the burning ground as it poses a health hazard to you and your fellow Divers
Recommended Stratagems
- Extremely effective against larger and more heavily armored enemies such as Hulks and Tanks
- Great against clearing bot drops or patrols
- Able to destroy Bot Fabricators
- Effective against most enemies. Will one shot Tanks and Cannon Turrets
- Can kill a dropship before it drops its bots if timed correctly
- This is a great Sentry for dealing with larger enemies as long as you keep it protected and far enough away from enemy focused attacks
- Can take out medium to heavy enemies
- All around protection
- 12 second recharge after depleted
